News released by DECC this morning:- The South West has today been named as the UK's first Marine Energy Park, firmly placing the region on the international map for leadership in marine renewable energy. DECC has said this morning the following' We have developed a new installer standard through the BSI (PAS 2030), based largely on existing requirements for those measures covered by the GD. This will be published at the end of Jan 2012 & we will set out what is required, inc. "grandfather rights," classroom and workplaces based training - then normal procedures for creating new courses and qualifications apply.
